On this occasion our client was North Lincolnshire Homes.
The properties to be refurbished on this occasion are known as BISF. The works involved the removal of metal cladding to the first floor areas along with the metal cladding to soffits and fascias. All existing coverings were removed to expose the existing metal frame which then cleaned and treated with an anti-rust product. A new timber frame was then constructed to all elevations with a new box frame for soffits and fascias. The timber frame was fixed to the existing steel frame and then an 18mm marine plywood was attached to form a new substrate.
Consequently we then installed a 100mm Mineral Fibre External Wall Insulation system with a combination of dry dash and brick effect render finishes.
New upvc soffits and fascias along with new rainwater goods were fitted and an insulated roof system was installed to external buildings offering the outbuildings total water tightness.
