LSPC undertook this Main Contract project and worked closely with the client to create a kitchen extension to the front of the property.
LSPC carried out all groundworks and drainage and built the new extension from 140mm concrete blocks. These were then used to carry new steelworks to enable the tying of the new extension roof to the existing roof timbers to form an internal, vaulted ceiling within the new extension.
To achieve good levels of thermal performance, a 110mm Mineral Fibre insulation board was installed and finished with a Thermosan K1.5 self-cleansing render finish. To maximise thermal performance, we installed a 100mm EPS 200E system to the blockwork footings and backfilled with gravel to form an insulated and waterproof barrier to the underground footings.
All internal buildings work and finished were undertaken to the client’s specification and a new kitchen installed.
